Canyon Copper Metallic is arguably the best color you could put on a 1971 Pontiac Firebird, and this Firebird Formula was painted that color from the factory. That gorgeous color is complimented by a black vinyl roof, rally wheels, reflective side stripes, dual snorkel hood, rear spoiler, and fender louvers for a true muscle car look!
This Pontiac comes with PHS Documentation and a big stack of receipts for work performed. It is in incredible shape throughout and features the original numbers matching 350 CID V8, with a few performance modifications. The 1971 Firebird Formula was rated at 255 horsepower, but this car now makes just over 300 with upgraded aluminum intake, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and headers.
The interior is incredible with black vinyl bucket seats, a center console with shifter, and a nice options list. Those options include: A/C, AM/FM radio, tilt steering wheel, factory tachometer, rally steering wheel, and a full complement of gauges. It also has power steering and power brakes making it a very enjoyable to drive muscle car!
Out of 52,124 Firebirds produced in 1971, only 7,802 were Formulas, making this a rare treat! With Rally gauges, F41 suspension, and a 3.08 gear with Safe-T-Track (limited slip), this car was built as a muscle car! It was originally sold in California and now lives in Florida so it has avoided salt. It has a clean and clear Florida title and is ready for a proud new owner! This Firebird comes with a lot of documentation for the new owner.
